WHAT IS A BOND ACTUALLY?

A bond is nothing but an ordinary loan of money issued by companies or governments. When you buy a bond, you lend money to a company or a government. You will receive interest for this loan. The loan is repaid by the company or government over a certain period of time.

In this case, you lend money to Matchcorp BV. Immediately after your investment in Matchcorp BV you will receive interest on this loan. You invest an amount in Matchcorp BV for 5 years.

  • You will receive interest every quarter

Immediately after the start, the payment of the interest will start. Matchcorp BV repays your investment in full after the agreed period of 5 years.

Who we are

At the helm of The Flying Ship Company is a passionate team of engineers, pilots, captains and executives. The team members have expertise in multiple disciplines, including engineering, international business development, maritime and aviation law, supply chain management, manufacturing operations, external communications, government relations, human resources and corporate strategy in the aerospace, maritime and defense sectors.

Executive Leadership

Bill Peterson is the Chief Executive Officer for Flying Ship Technologies, Corp. He began flying Cessna 150’s and 152’s at the age of fourteen and has been captivated by aerospace ever since. Bill holds an Aerospace Engineer degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Executive MBA from George Mason University. He is accomplished in developing, managing, and executing corporate strategy, business capture, and economic development activities for a multitude of US and UK aerospace and defense companies.

 

Gus Bateas is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Flying Ship Technologies, Corp. Gus is an aerospace, defense and maritime executive with a solid and proven track record. Gus has 35 years of industry experience and held positions of increasing responsibility in design engineering, operations, supply chain, program management, and business development at Boeing (Rockwell), Northrop Grumman, The Ensign-Bickford Company, Raytheon (Collins/UTAS/Goodrich), GMB Associates and Triumph. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Maritime College and a Master’s in Business and Management from the University of Southern California. Gus currently serves on the Aerospace Industry Association (AIA) Supply Management Council (SMC) Executive Leadership Committee. 

Overview of the Flying Ships

The Flying Ship Company has taken proven technology that harnesses the aerodynamic principal of Ground Effect to create advanced, uncrewed, autonomous maritime shipping vehicles that fly on a cushion of air just over the water. These Flying Ships will disrupt the global logistics industry with the combination of green technology and 21st century aerodynamics. Integrating these concepts dramatically decreases vehicle cost, improves energy efficiency and eliminates greenhouse gas emissions.

Market opportunity

There has been a market surge in the demand for shipping time-sensitive, price-sensitive goods to coastal regions around the world. To meet this underserved demand, the Flying Ship Company is developing uncrewed, autonomous ground effect drones that are ten times faster than boats, cost just one-quarter to maintain and operate compared to airplanes, provide tens of thousands of additional coastal access points, and are dramatically cleaner for the environment.

Our vessels will serve the €6 trillion global market segment that is on projected to exceed €13 trillion in 5 to 7 years. The first version will be a 10-meter zero-emissions, battery-powered vessel with about a 1,200 kg cargo capacity and a maximum range of 500 nm. The first all-electric model is scheduled be tested on new trade routes in 2-3 years
